A new revenue vertical
built from scratch
Pristyn Care's core business is connecting patients with surgical care. Pristyn MedX was a strategic expansion into B2B medical equipment sales targeting the hospitals, clinics, and surgical centres that were already part of the Pristyn Care network.
This was a ground-up design project. No existing design language to extend, no established user flows to build on just a product strategy brief and the task of designing a complete B2B e-commerce experience that matched Pristyn Care's quality standards.
B2B buyer experience
Designed for procurement managers and clinical buyers who need to compare technical specifications, request quotes, and manage multi-item orders, very different needs from a consumer e-commerce user.
Complex product catalogue
Medical equipment ranges from consumables to major surgical hardware. The catalogue design needed to handle significant variation in product complexity, specification depth, and purchase process.
Quote and enquiry flows
Unlike consumer e-commerce where a customer buys immediately, many B2B medical purchases involve quote requests, procurement approval, and negotiated pricing. The UX needed to support this workflow.
Responsive across devices
Procurement managers work across desktop and mobile. The site needed to be fully functional on both with desktop prioritised for complex catalogue browsing and mobile for quick lookups and follow-ups.
